LEDs use 80% less energy and last up to 50 times longer than traditional lighting.
Simply replacing one incandescent bulb with a LED will save on average $350 over the LED's lifetime.
Unlike traditional bulbs, LEDs do not contain mercury, are completely recyclable, and do not contaminate the environment.
Ethos lighting sells the brightest, highest quality LED bulbs on the market and provides a 3 year warranty on all bulbs.

What is a LED?
Light-emitting diodes (LEDs) are compound semiconductor devices that convert electricity to light. Invented by scientists in the 1960s, LEDs are vastly different from traditional, incandescent, fluorescent and halogen light sources. A major difference is that LEDs do not have filament that will burn out, so they last much longer. The key advantage to LEDs is efficiency. Incandescent bulbs generate a lot of heat in order to warm the filament and output light. This is a complete waste of electricity. LEDs use a greater percentage of the electrical power towards generating light, thereby severely reducing energy demands (LEDs use about 1/5 of the energy of comparable light bulbs). Additionally, LEDs stand out because they do not generate much heat, and can lead to a reduction in your monthly air conditioning bill. Due to the solid-state nature of LEDs, there are no filaments to break, no moving parts to fail, and no glass components of any kind. With LEDs, breakage during transportation, installation or operation - a common problem of traditional light sources - is virtually eliminated.
LED Applications Then and Now
LEDs were first used in computer circuit boards, cell phones, automotive tail lights, traffic signals, etc. Due to recent advances in technology, LEDs are finding their way into homes and businesses around the world in the form of LED light bulbs. Not only do consumers want to see a significant savings on their electric bill, but they have become "greener" and more environmentally conscience. People have become aware of global warming, and are making a effort to reduce their energy consumption and help preserve our planet. We can't think of an easier way than simply changing a light bulb.
To learn more about LED light bulbs select from the menu below:
Color Temperature
LED light bulbs can range from Warm White to Cool white. Typically, warm and soft whites have a tinge of yellow, whereas 4000K+ color temperatures are a pure white.
Wattage
This is the amount of electricity used by the LED bulb. LED's use about 1/5 of the energy of their equivalent incandescent bulbs.
Lifetime
The amount of hours that a LED will maintain it's brightness. Ethos LEDs carry a 50,000 hour lifetime.
Warranty
All Ethos LEDs are backed by a 3 year warranty.
LED Benefits
Saving Energy - "Ninety percent of the energy that an incandescent light bulb burns is wasted as heat," says US News. LEDs are highly efficient and typically use about 1/5 of the energy that a comparable incandescent bulb uses.
Saving Money - Utilizing less energy saves on electricity bills. If a 10 watt LED bulb, replaces a 100 watt incandescent, your electricity usage gets reduced by 90%, while producing the same amount of light. One LED bulb lasts for 50,000 hours, which is equivalent to about 42 incandescent light bulbs. Due to the LED's longevity, the savings will be evident not only in your electricity bills but in the amount of money, gas, and time saved in driving out to purchase new bulbs. LEDs wil also help lower your A/C costs, as they generate minimal heat. The more bulbs LED bulbs installed, the greater the savings. Finally, government grants and tax deductions are potentially available to homes or businesses that switch to Ethos Lighting LED bulbs. Saving the Environment - Compact fluorescent light bulbs contain mercury, which has devastating environmental effects in landfills. Incandescent light bulbs are waste a lot of energy, energy that gets generated by coal-powered plants which heavily pollute the atmosphere with CO2. Additionally, neither compact fluorescents nor incandescents are recyclable and some generate toxic levels of lead when disposed of improperly. LED bulbs have no mercury, are completely recyclable, and use less energy than any comparable product.
