We can assist you whether you are looking to find a cost-saving lighting solution or are seeking to use LEDs for decorative purposes.If you are seeking a cost-saving solution we will perform an audit of your facilities and produce a cost-benefit analysis free of charge. This analysis will highlight both the cost of the LEDs and the money you will save by converting. The typical return on investment for LED lighting is approximately two to three years, while the lifespan of the lights is between 10-15 years (depending on how many hours they are used per day). If you decide to switch to LED lighting we will manage the entire process from delivery of the bulbs through installation. Furthermore, we will aid in seeking tax and rebate incentives from Federal and local sources. These incentives can amount to a 15% to 40% reduction in the total cost of the project, but vary from state to state.

What is a LED?

Light-emitting diodes (LEDs) are compound semiconductor devices that convert electricity to light. Invented by scientists in the 1960s, LEDs are vastly different from traditional, incandescent, fluorescent and halogen light sources. A major difference is that LEDs do not have filament that will burn out, so they last much longer. The key advantage to LEDs is efficiency. Incandescent bulbs generate a lot of heat in order to warm the filament and output light. This is a complete waste of electricity. LEDs use a greater percentage of the electrical power towards generating light, thereby severely reducing energy demands (LEDs use about 1/5 of the energy of comparable light bulbs). Additionally, LEDs stand out because they do not generate much heat, and can lead to a reduction in your monthly air conditioning bill. Due to the solid-state nature of LEDs, there are no filaments to break, no moving parts to fail, and no glass components of any kind. With LEDs, breakage during transportation, installation or operation - a common problem of traditional light sources - is virtually eliminated.

Color Temperature

LED light bulbs can range from Warm White to Cool white. Typically, warm and soft whites have a tinge of yellow, whereas 4000K+ color temperatures are a pure white.
